On the bright side, BLINKY LIGHTS IN MY JACKET YAAAYYYYYYY

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

For those wondering, this is the airbag system for my motorcycle jacket. Vlecros and zips in, totally self reliant (no attachments or sensors on the bike). And now I get to walk into my friends house and be like: Yo i need to charge my jacket

Kinja'd!!!

First thoughts: this fits kinda like an extra back protector. I was assuming the majority of the system would be hidden in the hump of the jacket, but that doesnt seem to be the case. makes the jacket a little bit more snug, this MIGHT pose a slight issue to me later, but I see it as a way to keep me in shape.

I need to learn how to change the programming to street mode and go from there. But I am much excite!

Much like my avalanche bag for my occasional backcountry boarding trip I hope you never HAVE to deploy it. All things considered it’s probably about as unobtrusive as it possibly can be. You’d definitely notice something like a Leatt neck brace a lot more...

I remember seeing a concept for this; didn’t know that it had actually hit the market.

I’m sure it’ll be a while before you get a real-world feel for battery life, but does the manufacturer give any such estimates?

That’s pretty reasonable.
